Embark on an unforgettable journey through Uzbekistan's iconic cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara. Meet like-hearted people throughout the week as we take inspiration from the home of Sahih Bukhari to explore the theme of Innovation.

Starting in the vibrant city of Tashkent, as we soak in the city's modern atmosphere before heading to Samarkand, a legendary Silk Road city renowned for its breathtaking architecture and rich history. We’ll discover the Registan Square, adorned with majestic madrasahs, and let the city's mystical allure inspire you.

Continue to Bukhara, a living museum of Islamic architecture and culture. Wander through Bukhara's labyrinthine streets, visit historic landmarks, and find peaceful spots to connect amidst the city's timeless charm. Throughout this immersive experience, against the backdrop of Uzbekistan's cultural treasures, discover meaningful connections that will enrich your professional, spiritual and personal life

Agenda

  • Saturday 8th June

    Upon arrival in Tashkent, meet our transport team and transfer to our hotel.

    Join the welcome dinner with our guest speakers joining the trip and your compatriats for the week to get to know each other.

  • Sunday 9th June

    After Fajr and breakfast, we’ll spend the morning exploring the city including the Hazrati Imam complex.

    After a light lunch, we’ll board the high-speed train to Samarkand. Upon arrival transfer to our hotel for dinner with reflections on the day and overnight.

  • Monday 10th June

    After Fajr and breakfast, we’ll have time to co-work (catch up on the weekly emails!) before joining our first seminar of the week with our guest speaker as we explore “The impact the Silk Route has had on defining the Islamic worldview”

    In the afternoon, we’ll explore the city of Samarkand visting Registan, Gur Emir, Bibikhanum, and the Ulugbek Observatory. Dinner with reflections on the day and overnight in Samarkand.

  • Tuesday 11th June

    After Fajr and breakfast, we’ll convene for a team workshop on delivering innovation in our spaces with our guest facilitator.

    After a co-working lunch to catch up on any work, we’ll visit the Konighil Village before trying your hand at making the local dish Plov at a local house.

  • Wednesday 12th June

    After Fajr and breakfast, we’ll depart Samarkand by road to Bukhara.

    On our way, we’ll stop at the Gijduvan ceramics for a demonstration in local pottery, before arriving into the ancient city of Bukhara for dinner and to overnight.

  • Thursday 13th June

    After Fajr and breakfast, we’ll have our final session of the trip with our resident guest speaker “How our history shapes our innovative character for future generations”

    This afternoon we’ll have a leisurely walking tour of Bukhara visiting the Kalyan Mosque, The Ark Fortress and Chor Minor Fortress. Bukhara was built on an oasis, so that water for this desert city was provided through ponds, the last remaining of which is Lyabi-Hauz. Dinner and overnight in Bukhara

  • Friday 14th June

    This morning you’ll have time free time to relax, catch up on work, or explore the city at your leisure.

    After Jummah and lunch, we’ll board the high speed train to Tashkent arriving in the evening.

    Enjoy a final group dinner and overight in Tashkent.

  • Saturday 15th June

    After breakfast, departure from Tashkent to the airport for your onwards flights home.
