Join the GMWx Morocco event from 29 February to 4 March 2024 for a pre-Ramadan booster with like-hearted company.

GMWx Morocco is our first “X” event of 2024, designed for anyone looking to amplify their connections, take a moment of reflection before Ramadan and explore a wealth of learning and networking opportunities. Our port of arrival will be Marrakech, with easy flight access from most European and MENA locations.

Our insightfully curated program is designed to be interactive, bringing you into the conversation to share ideas around our central theme for this event: sustainability.

There are only 20 spaces, so hurry to confirm your place.

Abode

We’ll be staying in a small town called Tameslouht, located 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The two houses (one for brothers and one for sisters) are farm locations a few minutes apart, the perfect location to recharge your batteries, connect over tea and reflect on the nearing month of Ramadan.

Agenda

  • Thursday 29th February

    Upon arrival into Marrakech, GMW will have transfers to meet you and take you to the village of Tameslouht, located 20 minutes from the airport.

    Your accommodation will be in either a brothers’ or sisters’ villa which located 5 minutes from each other. Join the welcome dinner with your GMW colleagues from 7pm.

  • Friday 1st March

    7.00am: Fajr and reflections

    8.30am: Breakfast

    9.30am: Pecha Kucha by you!

    12.00pm: Depart for Jummah

    2.00pm: Light lunch followed by guest speaker sessions with Mark Gonzales and others

    6.00pm: Return to Tameslouht for Maghrib and dinner

  • Saturday 2nd March

    7.00am: Fajr and reflections

    8.30am: Breakfast

    10.00am: Interactive morning workshop on our Sustainability themed topics with local guest participants.

    1.00pm: Prayer and lunch

    2.00pm: Continuation of workshop

    4.00pm: Time to relax and enjoy your surroundings, followed by dinner after Maghrib

  • Sunday 3rd March

    7.00am: Fajr and reflections

    8.00am: Breakfast

    9.00am: Cultural day trip into the Atlas Mountains

    7.00pm: Return to Tameslouht for dinner

  • Monday 4th March

    7.00am: Fajr and reflections

    8.30am: Breakfast

    10.00am: Departures to Marrakech airport

Note that single rooms are very limited in each house. Sharing rooms will be with the same gender in a single-gender house. Each room has an en-suite bathroom.
