Over a period of twelve years, internationally acclaimed photographer Peter Sanders travelled throughout China to capture images of Chinese Muslims and their unique spiritual culture, which began only sixty years after Hijrah when Saad ibn Waqas and other companions of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings of God be upon him) settled in this majestic land at the invitation of Tang Emperor.
